If weeds do shoot through your Sir Walter turf, we recommend heavily fertilising, and then mowing twice in a 21 day period. This natural growth defense mechanism usually eradicates any weeds that might be starting to sprout through.

In some rare cases, a weed spray might be necessary. It is strongly recommended that you consult your local nursery or turf expert to first properly identify the weed, and then treat it with an effective spray. Avoid using herbicides containing the ingredient DSMA or MSMA.
